Ride the Heart of the Valley provides 4 route options - one for every rider! Whether you're a casual cyclist or looking for an early season endurance ride, we have a route for you. Click on the route name for maps and detailed information.
5K Dog Jog/Walk11:30am start
Don't feel like biking? Bring your dogs instead (on a leash please!) and run or walk this on-campus route. |
12 Mile Route11:00am start
This route is relatively flat and primarily on separated bike paths, in bike lanes, or on neighborhood streets. We encourage occasional or new cyclists and families to ride this route. There will be one rest stop with child-friendly activities, snacks and drinks! |
30 Mile Route9:30am start
This route will wind around Corvallis and then head southwest down the Willamette Valley and over to Philomath. It is designed for slightly more experienced riders and has moderate hills. This route will have two rest stops with snacks and drinks. This route also has a 26-mile hill bypass option (shown in blue on the map), with directions below. |
62 Mile Route8:00am start
This route is intended for experienced cyclists who want an early-season endurance ride. It proceeds down the Willamette valley to Harrisburg where it turns north and heads back to Corvallis on Peoria road. This route will have three rest stops, each with snacks and drinks. |
